1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to SalonDial. These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “Customer”, or “Salon Partner”) and SalonDial (“We”, or “Us”), governing your access to and use of the SalonDial mobile applications and web platform.

By registering, accessing, or using SalonDial services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

2. Customer Booking & Appointment Terms

• Chair Reservation & OTP Check-in: Upon booking, an SMS confirmation containing a 4-digit OTP is generated. Users must show their OTP at the salon reception upon arrival to validate their reserved chair.
• Punctuality & Grace Period: Salons reserve the right to release a booked chair if a customer is more than 10 minutes late without prior notification or rescheduling via the app.
• Cancellation & Rescheduling: Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled through the app up to 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time without penalty.
• Service Rates: Prices listed on SalonDial are set directly by partner salons. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3. Payment Methods & Razorpay Processing

SalonDial supports dual payment modes for customer convenience:

Refunds for online cancellations (if eligible) are processed back to the original payment source within 5–7 business days through Razorpay payment channels.

4. Salon Partner Listing, KYC & Commission Terms

For salon owners and studio managers registering their business on SalonDial:

• Mandatory KYC Verification: Salon Partners must submit valid Trade Licenses / Udyam Registration, GSTIN (if applicable), and Owner Aadhaar/PAN before market listing activation. SalonDial reserves the right to reject incomplete submissions.
• Commission Structure & Platform Fees: Salon Partners agree to the platform commission rate specified in their partner agreement. Commission fees are calculated only on completed appointments.
• Payout Settlements & Thresholds: Partner payout earnings collected online are settled to the salon partner's verified bank account within 24–48 hours once accumulated earnings meet or exceed the minimum payout threshold configured in admin settings.
• Hygiene & Service Quality: Salon Partners warrant that all tools, chairs, and premises meet sanitation guidelines mandated by local health authorities in Assam / India.

5. Prohibited Activities & Account Termination

Users and Salon Partners are strictly prohibited from:

• Creating fake bookings or fraudulent accounts.
• Submitting forged trade licenses or false KYC credentials.
• Harassing salon staff or customers.
• Attempting to bypass platform commission settlements through fraudulent off-platform agreements.

Violation of these rules will lead to immediate account blocking, forfeiture of pending settlements, and potential legal action under Indian law.

6. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

SalonDial functions as a technology marketplace connecting customers with independent salon providers. While we enforce strict KYC verification, SalonDial is not directly liable for individual haircut styling preferences, personal allergic reactions to salon cosmetics, or accidental physical injuries occurring inside independent partner premises.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction (Guwahati, Assam)

This Agreement shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising out of or in connection with SalonDial services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Guwahati, Assam, India.
